Position: Warranty Administrator
Location: Derr Equipment – Savannah, Missouri
Reports To: Parts and Service Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Warranty Administrator. As a Warranty Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and processing warranty claims, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the warranty process.
Essential Job Functions
- Develop proper warranty procedures in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Evaluate and track the warranty services offered and performed.
- Provides extended warranty data and pricing to sales department in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Ensures warranty literature and reference material is current and distributes information to appropriate employees.
- Prepare reports, initiates warranty campaigns and other campaigns designed to maintain and increase the profitability of the service department.
- Purchases extended warranties.
- Processes all manager approved policy adjustments.
- Receives, evaluates, and processes warranty claims in a timely manner following the closing of work orders.
- Track manufacturers turn-around time on warranty claims.
- Obtains credits from manufacturers.
- Develops good working relationships with internal customers and manufacturer representatives.
Qualifications
- Experience with Case IH, Cub Cadet, and other agriculture and lawn and garden equipment is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficient computer skills are a must.
