Derr Equipment is looking for a skilled and motivated Agriculture Service Technician to join our team in Savannah, Missouri.
If you have a passion for agriculture, enjoy diagnosing and repairing equipment, and take pride in doing quality work, we want to talk to you! As a Case IH dealership, our technicians play an important role in keeping our customers’ equipment operating when they need it most.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain Case IH and other agricultural equipment.
- Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and electronic controls.
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and equipment setup.
- Utilize diagnostic tools, service manuals, and technical resources.
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Communicate professionally with customers and service personnel.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Perform field service and emergency repairs as needed.
- Stay current on new equipment, technology, and service procedures.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
What We’re Looking For
- Agricultural equipment, heavy equipment, diesel, or related mechanical experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and electronics.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Case IH or agricultural equipment experience is a plus.
